"I was thoroughly impressed with how well my girls came together this weekend. It was shown through their fluid and seamless passing and how they were there for each other during the whole game. I am so blessed and privileged to coach girls that have an amazing work ethic and love for field hockey. To win the championship 7 years in a row is indescribable. I pride myself in coaching teams to bond, to hold themselves to a high level of sportsmanship and to always work as hard as they can. All of my teams have held all of these standards and worked equally as hard to win a championship. I am so proud of all of the girls that I have coached over the years. I would not be able to do this without support from my family, the girls' families and the NCFHA. I hope we can all continue to work together to grow the sport of field hockey in North Carolina."
