Number of Regular Season Contests:
- No more than three per week may be scheduled.
- Teams are limited to 18 games.
- An individual is limited to no more than one game per day.
- Junior varsity one-day end of season tournament counts as one game toward the 18-game limit.
- Varsity conference tournament games are considered part of state playoffs (and are not considered in the 18 game regular season limit).

July 3rd - July 9th and July 17th - July 23rd
2017 Fall Important Dates:
July 31st
- First date of permitted full practices.
- Refer to NCHSAA Handbook for guidelines on permitted out of season activities.
August 21st
- Regular season games begin
- Games prior to 8/21 are scrimmages, including the Play for the Cure Tournament and Mt Tabor Jamboree.
- Games on 8/21 and following are included in a team’s overall record and used for tournament seeding.
October 20th
- Last day of regular season
- All results due (conference results and overall record to NCFHA board)
- All-State and All-Conference (Offensive and Defensive player) nominations due
- East/West NCFHA Game nominations due
- Nominations due to NCFHA board for the Wayne Richardson award and for Sophie Scholarship
October 23rd & 24th
- State Tournament Play in games must be completed by 10/24
October 30th
- First round playoff games must be played and results communicated to NCFHA board on or before 10/30.
November 6th
- Second round playoff games must be played and results communicated to NCFHA board on or before 11/6.
November 8th
- Semi Finals (Winston/Gboro area Grass Field, TBD) 5pm and 7pm
November 11th – locations and times, TBD
- USFHA Clinic
- East vs West NCFHA Game
- Championship Game
